Go into any workshop production of steel (look in the yellow pages) and ask the Foreman did not attend the receipt that you will not go further with such a small amount of work for them. Will this MacBook be enough?
Hey guys, so my band and I need a MacBook so we can record on the go. Will a 2.0 ghz aluminum MacBook have enough “power” and such to record multi track songs and such in GarageBand, edit vids that we post to our band channel, and for the guys and me light gaming ( call of duty, driving games, the sims 3 when it’s released) and like talking with friends via webcam. If possible will the new white MacBook work for it ( it’s like 150$ less ( we could spend that on a new bass pod))? Thanks guys!
I think it’ll be fine – Just make sure after you get it, buy 3rd party ram to bring it up to 4GB.
Get the refurb MacBook from Apple, you’ll save $200 and still get a full one year warrantee;

However – One benefit of the White MacBook is it has a firewire port, which the new aluminum version does not have. So if you have any FireWire audio stuff or firewire only drives already, you kinda have to get the white one or re-buy USB2 versions of the equipment.
