A dining experience in the Maldives

The thousand islands of Maldives have clearly much to offer tourists seeking to experience paradise. But aside from the exquisite beaches, picturesque landscapes and the infinite beauty of the surrounding sea, paradise can be tasted in the variety of foods that Maldives has to offer.

The cuisine in the Maldives are definitely off from the local staple fare for the West and many Asian and Indian preparations in the meantime. Using curry is also very common in the cuisine of Maldives, and you can choose from fish, vegetables or meat curry dishes. Generally, traditional cuisine to Maldives is a balance of sweet flavors of citrus-y and slightly spicy. Fresh tropical fruits like mangoes, bananas and papayas are generally available for dessert.

A gastronomic adventure can be recommended because of Malé, the capital, where many cafes and tea rooms are candy sweet, spicy and savory pastries.
